Download: Report

Summary: This study examines five groups of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Treatment and Support Act eligible clients who participated in chemical dependency treatment and/or vocational services and compares them against a similarly matched group who were eligible for chemical dependency treatment, but did not receive the services. Overall employment outcomes are provided based on a 4½ years follow-up after treatment was completed (most completed treatment during 1990). Earnings as well as employment rates are identified.
