Mental Health Service Region Populations
Washington State's public mental health system is based upon 14 regional managed care systems called Regional Support Networks (RSNs). Each of these regions contains one or more counties and are highlighted by different colors on the image below. In each region, the name of the Regional Support Network is listed along with the county names and boundaries. The top figure lists the estimated 2003 total population for the service region and is followed with the rank in total population based the region's total population divided by total state population. The second set of figures in the region display the total number of public mental health Medicaid eligibles as of December 2003. This is followed by the rank of the region's eligible by the total statewide and then the portion of the total region's population that is Medicaid eligible.
