Traumatic Brain Injury campaign begins at state Capital

OLYMPIA -- First Gentleman Mike Gregoire will help launch a statewide Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) public awareness campaign from 10 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, March 12 in the state capital's Columbia Room.

The campaign is a partnership with the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) and the Washington Traumatic Brain Injury Strategic Partnership Advisory.

Speakers also include DSHS Secretary Robin Arnold-Williams, the TBI Council, Legislators and a traumatic brain injury survivor.

The new TBI web site www.TBIwashington.org and the TBI information line 1-877-TBI-1766 will be introduced.
