Chemical Dependency Treatment - Veteran's Administration (VA)

Purpose: This section describes the ADATSA services available to veterans.

CLARIFYING INFORMATION

Clients who are in a VA facility for residential treatment are ineligible for ADATSA services.

A veteran placed in a non-VA facility may request ADATSA services. Eligibility is determined the same as for any other client applying for the ADATSA program. If the assessment agency approves of the placement, the client is opened as an ADATSA medical coverage while in the facility.
