GA-X / G02 AU receiving Basic food

For a client in a GA-X G02 AU to receive the correct deductions for medical and shelter expenses in the Basic Food calculation, the client must be aged or on the DEM1 have a DISABILITY APPROV SOURCE code of: BL = Blind GT = Govt. Disability Benefits OD = ODI & DDD Services PX = PEP & GA/X Approved Non-ADA RR = Railroad Retirement Disability, or SA - SSA Disability Financial Benefits SI = Supplemental Security Income (SSI) VB = VA Benefits Based on at least 50% XS = PEP & GA/X Approved ADATSA Shelter The system looks at a client's age, disability type code, and approval source code to calculate deductions and net and gross income limits.
