106: TFA AU TERM/CLOSED IN BATCH - NON-ER REASON
This alert generates when a Transitional Food Assistance (TFA) AU is closed in overnight batch for something other than the end of review.
This alert generates in the following situation:
When a TANF AU is finalized to active status and a related TFA AU is not recalculated during the onlines the same day. The TFA AU will close in overnight batch if any of the active recipient TFA household members are also part of the active TANF AU.

Example An active member of a TFA AU left the TFA household and is now being opened on a new TANF AU. If this client’s status is not updated correctly on the TFA AU, the TFA AU closes in overnight batch and alert 106 generates. |

PROCEDURE
Review the case to determine if the household is TFA eligible. If the TFA needs to be reinstated, take the following steps:
On the AMEN screen, enter Option M – Reinstatement in the Selection field.
Enter the TFA AU to be reinstated in the AU ID field.
On the REIN screen enter [Y] in the REINS field next to each client to be reinstated. <TRANSMIT> and the (AMEN) redisplays.
On the (AMEN) enter Option R - Interim / Hist Change - in the Selection field.
On the TFA AU STAT screen, delete the closing "reason codes".
If the related active TANF AU household member is no longer in the TFA household, enter reason code 587 - Already Eligible for Program in Different AU in the client’s Rsn code field.
Call DONE to reinstate the TFA to active status.
Disposition the alert either from the alerts screen or from within the case.
