Number of Truancy, Children in Need of Services, and At-risk-youth Petitions (Becca Report)
|

|
Each quarter during the 2001-03 fiscal biennium, each county shall report the number of petitions processed and the total actual costs of processing the petitions in each of the following categories: Truancy, children in need of services, and at-risk youth. Counties shall submit the reports to the department no later than 45 days after the end of the quarter. The department shall forward this information to the chair and ranking minority member of the house of representatives appropriations committee and the senate ways and means committee no later than 60 days after a quarter ends.

Juvenile Court Block Grant
The department was required to administer a block grant to juvenile courts for the purpose of serving youth adjudicated in the juvenile justice system and to provide a report on the changes to the process of funding and managing grants to juvenile courts for serving youth adjudicated in the juvenile court system.
