Driving Directions

Entering Port Townsend from the south stay on Highway 20 until reaching Castle Hill Mall on the left. Turn left on Sheridan and travel approximately 3 blocks. The DVR office is located in the DSHS building on the 2nd floor on the left (west) side of Sheridan Street between 9th and 10th streets. Several agencies are located in the DSHS building including: DVR; CSO; HCS; DDD; and DCFS. The building is directly across the street from Jefferson General Hospital’s Emergency-Main Entrance and is a light olive-drab green color. 

If entering Port Townsend from the north (from Keystone Ferry) follow Water Street south which becomes Sims Way/Highway 20. After passing Safeway on the right, continue to the top of hill and turn right onto Sheridan Ave. travel approximately 3 blocks. The DVR office is located in the DSHS building on the 2nd floor on the left (west) side of Sheridan Street between 9th and 10th streets. Several agencies are located in the DSHS building including:
Community Services Office, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Division of Developmental Disabilities, Home & Community Services, and Division of Children and Family Services. The building is directly across the street from Jefferson General Hospital’s Emergency-Main Entrance and is a light olive-drab green color. 

Bus Directions

Jefferson County Transit buses (both city and county routes) all stop at the Jefferson General Bus Stop (covered). The Castle Hill bus route stops at the corner of 9th and Sheridan. The DVR office is located in the DSHS building on the 2nd floor on the left (west) side of Sheridan Street between 9th and 10th streets. Several agencies are located in the DSHS building including: DVR; CSO; HCS; DDD; and DCFS. The building is directly across the street from Jefferson General Hospital’s Emergency-Main Entrance and is a light olive-drab green color. Dial-A-Ride is available if a person is not able to travel on the fixed route.
