KIDS General Information Line: 1-800-442-KIDS

The KIDS line is a phone system which can give you general information about DCS services and how to establish a case. KIDS has information about date and amount of the last payment and many other answers to common questions. If you have an established case, then call the field office that handles your case. DCS Community Relations Unit

The Community Relations Unit within the Division of Child Support coordinates community outreach, responds to media inquiries and looks into issues for the public on behalf of the DCS Director. If you have difficulty with DCS, you should speak with your Support Enforcement Officer (SEO). If you are not able to reach resolution with the SEO, speak with the SEO's supervisor.

If you still cannot reach resolution after a good faith effort with the supervisor, you may contact the Community Relations Unit (CRU) in DCS Headquarters. CRU staff are available to assist clients in working with their SEO or to explain complex issues a client may not fully understand. CRU will not overrule the SEO. They attempt to facilitate satisfactory resolutions to difficult problems. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be obtained, the CRU member will ensure the client is fully informed of their options. CRU, may not provide legal advice. Contact the Community Relations Unit via telephone, mail or e-mail. Include your name, your relationship to the case, the names of the parties to the case and the DCS case number and/or Social Security Number of at least one of the parties. CRU uses these items to locate the correct case and respond to your inquiry.

Washington State Support Registry (WSSR)

WSSR handles intake of new referrals, receipt and disbursement of payments, locate-only services and interstate communications with other states' child support agencies. Correspondence and/or payments should be directed to the appropriate addresses below.
