New Release InformationThe following new program enhancements, changes and fixes were implemented on the weekend of May 27, 28, 2006 and hot fixes from May 31, 2006: Filtering by individual client name for D & C is working once again. The search window to find existing clients for filtering was broken in last month’s release. The code has been corrected and the function is again operating. The Mid Tier Import function (designed for the Department of Corrections (DOC) goes into production this month. This feature allows for the import of all TARGET data records, rather than just treatment activities, and will be available for all TARGET agencies sometime in July. The function will only accept records from a single agency. Therefore, organizations consisting of multiple agencies will have to import their data on a “by agency” basis. Spar (Spending Plans) now display plans in order by Bars codes. TARGET 2000 has migrated to IIS 6.0, which runs on an MS Windows 2003 server connecting to SQL Server 2000 database and reports servers. Many modifications too many functions were required to make TARGET run under this new environment. OME MT (an old methadone code) has been removed from the ASAM Level pull down on the Admission Completion page. This option was inactivated long ago. Modality, Contract Type, Funding Source (MCTFS) have been added for Group Care Enhancement – Adult Outpatient – County Community Services. Talk to your County Coordinator (C/C) or Regional Treatment Manager (RTM) if this contract type applies to you. SPAR – Revenue Report has been corrected to reflect the Revenue streams which are specific to State fiscal years. The TARGET DOLLARS and ANALYSIS columns for RUAD, WASBIRT, and ATR are now blanked out as they do not coincide with State fiscal years. They will be added back in for the 3rd biennial quarter. The ATR Client History Report now displays the Planned Provider Name as recorded in the Recovery Plan rather than the incorrect setting of the ATR/RSS County Agency name. The Populate Group function now includes Gambling and both CD and Gambling type admissions. This will make populating groups with gambling clients now possible. M4 Contract PerformanceSQL version upgrades over the May 27 & Since our TARGET 2000 Server(s) and 28 Downtime Weekend the M4 – Summary Report has began running very slowly! Beginning on Tuesday, May 30, calls to the TARGET Help Line began to increase as agencies, running their monthly Management (M’s) reports, began experiencing very slow performance and often “Timeout Expired” messages trying to complete their Activities for the month of May. The TARGET programmers increased, time limits, adjusted memory management, and performed other mysteries in an effort to get this important report to behave correctly. Eventually, they were able to get the report to run within 5 – 10 minutes, rather than the 20 minutes originally experienced. Although, improvements have been made there is still work to do! For some agencies the problem still persists and more changes are expected as soon as they can be positively identified. D5 Activities ListingAlthough client names appear with the D5, the sub totals and totals match those from the M4 – Summary. Cut and Paste screen data from the TARGET application into a Word document, delete what you don’t need, format what you’re after and it should get you through your billing issues, at least for this month. TARGET TrainingIf you have questions regarding TARGET Trainings please contact David Moore at (360) 725-3751. DowntimeThe TARGET system is typically not available the last weekend of each month from 5:00 p.m. Friday, through 8:00 a.m. Monday. The dates for this month are: June 23rd thru the 26th.
