2003 County Profiles of Substance Use and Need for Treatment Services - Washington State Needs Assessment Household Survey

The Washington State Needs Assessment Household Survey (WANAHS) was a statewide survey of over 6,700 adults designed to measure the prevalence of substance use and the need for substance abuse treatment. Data were collected from February 2003 through February 2004. Funding was provided by a grant from the Federal Center for Substance Abuse Treatment. This series of county profiles update a previous set of reports produced in 1999 based on 1993-1994 survey data.
