This workshop is given by Tim Mack, Juvenile Rehabilitation Counselor and Trainer at Maple Lane School.

You will learn about:

  • Identifying a child's baseline behavior
  • Assessing the level of agitation the young person is experiencing
  • Verbal de-escalation techniques to help youth return to baseline behavior
  • Skill building for youth regarding self-awareness, self-regulation and self de-escalation.
