Cora Phillips

Cora Phillips

I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. I attended Nyack College in Nyack, New York and majored in sociology and psychology. I went to the University of Washington for my MSW. My husband, Pastor Joseph Phillips and I have four biological children and one heart daughter that we will be adopting next year on her 21st birthday. My oldest daughter is a first year medical school student in Long Island, New York, the second oldest daughter is a junior in college, my heart daughter is a sophomore in college, son is a junior in high school and youngest daughter is an eighth grader.

My hobbies are reading, swimming, traveling and spending time with my family playing board games. I am a national and regional member of the board of director's of my spiritual denomination. I am a national conference and retreat speaker.

My home has always been a safe haven for many children and teens in crisis, though we have never been foster parents. I have always valued making children feel loved, safe and protected.
