Title IV-E Funding Waiver Application Advisory Committee

A statewide advisory committee has been formed to make recommendations to the Children's Administration about Washington State's Title IV-E waiver application for a federal demonstration project.

The advisory committee is co-chaired by Representative Ruth Kagi and Jennifer Strus, the Acting Assistant Secretary of the DSHS Children's Administration and has members representing the diversity of the child welfare community including Tribal governments, the state legislature, the Governor's Office, the Washington Federation of State Employees, Washington Courts, foster parents, child welfare advocates, child placing agencies and other child welfare stakeholders.

Every Advisory Committee meeting will include an opportunity for public input, and we encourage active statewide participation in this process.
