You Can Too

Become a Foster Parent

Take our questionnaire about becoming a foster care provider.

The children who come into your home will present both challenges and opportunities. The challenge is parenting children who have begun their lives under difficult circumstances. But the opportunity is that they are children for whom the love and care of adults can make a huge difference.

Foster parenting is about changing lives one child at a time. It is about believing and investing in the future. We hope you will consider making that investment.

Children need role models. This is especially true of children who come into foster care in Washington.

As a parent, I know that kids need caring adults who can give them a safe and secure home that will shelter them from the trauma and distress of their young lives. You can provide such a home. You can become a foster parent. Like thousands of others in this state who have stepped forward to help care for our most vulnerable, you can change a child's life.
